GNU Project - FOSS

GNU Project Details :

• The GNU Project is Started in September 27th 1983 by Richard Stallman and it was launched in 1984 to develop a complete Unix-like Operating System.
• After that 1985 Stallmen is start the FOSS (Free Open Source Software Foundation) and wrote the GNU GPL (General Public License) in 1989.
• So that the GNU is used in lot of Kernal Linux. The Combination of GNU and Linux is the GNU/Linux Operating System. Now used by millions of users
